Collection: Autumn / Winter 2020

TOMCSANYI Autumn/Winter 2020 collection draws inspiration from the ‘hungarian alps’ Mátra, where several winter camps and hikes took place in the designer’s childhood.

The prints all feel seamlessly personal. Winter birds, sunflower seeds, oak tree leaves and mountain tops make the collection’s signature prints resonate on a higher level, offering comfortable pieces from staying home to evening casual. Taking a more practical approach on this season, -despite the boldness and kaleidoscopic mix of textures and prints-, the combination of the thoughtfully selected fabrics and easy to wear silhouettes are showing a variety of solutions for different activities.  

The brand’s signature bold colours such as cobalt blue, flame red, arctic blue, mulberry and rose pink are creating an easy to remember, more layered visual reference, just how we expect it from season to season. 

Cupro and viscose fabric already belong to the designer’s vocabulary but this season a higher approach of sustainability meets the usual, loud aesthetic as well. 

The designer’s goal for the next 3 years is to become 100% sustainable and some of the comfortable, yet feminine, easy-to-style silhouettes are already climbing the zero waste mountain.
